#RainyContest2014: RL’s website is 5!

So, it’s that time of the year again: on the 9th of February another year would have passed for Rainy London’s website – and before we welcome the new version (soon!), I’d like to say:

Happy B-day! We are 5!

When I launched it 5 years ago, I thought I would not change a single thing of my decisions so far.

But now… what would I change?

To CELEBRATE, I’m giving away a fabulous *CAPPUCCINO* cup (to popular demand from tea and non-espresso drinkers…! I gave in!)

to ONE lucky winner.

Not only espresso

All you need to do is …END THIS SENTENCE:

If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, I would…

  • Contest ends on 9th February, which means you have a little more than a week to join.
  • Use the hashtags: #rainycontest2014 and/or #rainylondon or tag/mention @rainylondon in your message.

May the odds be with you!

If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, I would just disappear from my desk and magically reappear in a (hopefully near) future in which I actually DO have a career… but one girl can dream, right? 🙂 #rainycontest2014 #rainylondon @rainylondon

  2. hmmm… maybe I would have studied a bit more to get my degree in russian. nevertheless, I’m giving it a second chance, I will succeed and I’m gonna be rich, mWA ha hA 🙂

  3. … have started it earlier!

  4. If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, I would have started my days earlier. It may seems useless, but now I’m loving to have my day well organized 🙂 #rainycontest2014 #rainylondon @rainylondon

I think I would actually move a few months forward, when I am finished with my dissertation and I can again combine my passions: teaching, translating and researching without sacrificing two to achieve a milestone in the third one 😉

  6. ..change absolutely everything! I am really unhappy in my job and I still think that professional satisfaction is pivotal and quintessential. Hope it is not too late to reinvent myself..

  7. Valéria

    #rainycontest2014 …I would’ve (re-)started learning Italian a bit earlier.

  10. I am just like Marta: If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, I would have started it earlier! 🙂

  11. If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, I would have chosen to study engeneering and tried to become a train driver 😀 my secret, very secret pipe dream 😀

If I could change anything about my career it would be feeling like I have career and not just a job

If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, I would have paid more attention in class and I would have worked harder. Now that I’m finishing my studies I wish I had taken more advantage of college.

  14. If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, it would be to have been serious about marketing YEARS ago ;-)! what a loss of time!!

  15. Kim

If I could change only 1 thing in my career right now, I would have started working much earlier to gain more experience and learn the tips and tricks of this industry already as a student;)
